Now I'm hoping I don't sound to uhmm, strange at the moment but I also own a collection of old classic movies! My favorite scene in each of these movies is probably the "High Tea." Those dainty china rose tea cups and small cakes are absolutely adorable!
Now without further ado, here's a recipe for some yummy jam drops!

What You'll Need:
125g Softened Butter
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Caster Sugar
1 Cup Almond Meal
1 Egg
1 Cup Plain Flour
1/2 Cup Raspberry Jam
Makes:
25
Method:
Step 1~ Preheat oven to 180ºF (160ºC) fan forced. Line baking trays with baking paper, and spray a light coat of Canola Oil cooking spray over baking paper.
Step 2~ Beat butter, vanilla extract, caster sugar and almond meal in a small bowl with your electric mixer until it is light and fluffy. Then go ahead and add your egg. Beat again until everything is combined. Stir in sifted flour.
Step 3~ Roll tablespoons of the mixture into round balls. Place the balls roughly 5-7cm apart on your baking trays. With your fingers, slightly flatten the round balls.
Step 4~ Using the end of a wooden spoon press a round shape into each ball of dough. Taking your raspberry jam, fill each hole.
Step 5~ Bake for 15 - 20 minutes.
Now it's time to sit back, relax, and enjoy your freshly baked jam drops, Enjoy!
